Freer and Sackler Galleries |
The Freer and Sackler galleries together form the national museum of Asian art for the United States. The Freer Gallery houses a collection of art from China, Japan, Korea, South and Southeast Asia, and the Near East. The Sackler Gallery is home to works of Asian art, including Chinese bronzes and jades, Chinese paintings and lacquerware, ancient Near Eastern ceramics and metalware, and sculpture from South and Southeast Asia.
